In this short story, three people have an encounter with a strange and mysterious object. One which apparently allows them to see into the future – the Mirror of Destiny.
In the mirror they see glimpses of different situations, things which have not yet come to pass. Some of the images appear fuzzy and unfocused, while others are crystal clear. Not all are pleasant.
“All the Mirror does is show you your destiny. There is no guarantee that you will like what you see.” – Corinne
Choices, choices…
But what if you do not like what you see?
It is called the Mirror of Destiny, but is your destiny truly set – unavoidable, written in stone, or can you alter it by your own actions?
“We make hundreds of choices every day. Most of which do not matter, some that matter in the long run and a few important ones. We do not always know beforehand which category the choices we make belong to.” – Corinne
Your circumstances, including the actions of others, you have no control over. You cannot control the wind. But if you know which way the wind is blowing, you can adjust you sails.
Now, if only there was a foolproof way to make the right choices…
